Hip and Knee Implant Attorneys

Keefe Bartels is a personal injury and defective products law firm. For years, we have litigated medical implant cases for clients throughout the United States.

We are dedicated to providing our clients with effective advocacy. We offer extensive experience in defective implant cases and pursue maximum compensation for our clients.

In May 2011, as a result of the firm’s hard work for victims of faulty medical implants, Keefe Bartels was appointed co-lead counsel in the Depuy ASR hip implant litigation in New Jersey. The firm is proud of this appointment and eager to litigate these claims aggressively.

Cooper Tire & Rubber Co., Mr. Keefe served as plaintiffs’ liaison counsel. The settlement was valued at $1 billion to $3 billion.

Mr. Keefe has been recognized by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Certified Civil Trial Attorney, a recognition granted to attorneys who demonstrate a significant level of experience, education, knowledge, and expertise in trial practice. Less than 1% of all New Jersey attorneys qualify for this recognition.

Mr. Keefe has also been named to the Law Journal's "40 Under 40 Lawyers," recognized as a "Super Lawyer,” and is a former president of the New Jersey Trial Lawyers Association.
